The Swamp Creek & Western Model Railroad Association operates the port Columbia and Eastern, a fictitious bridge route over the Cascade Mountains of Washington State. It is a 30' x 28' HO scale (1/87th) model railroad housed in the old freight room of the Edmonds Amtrak (ex-GN) BNSF station.

Take a virtual tour of the railroad routes on their website or visit over the holidays during their annual open house in December. Their location isn't currently open to tours, but may open again after the COVID-19 pandemic subsides.

Looking to spot a full sized locomotive? Full-scale operations of Amtrak, the Sounder and the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad travel past the Edmonds waterfront every day. Visit the ferry landing or Meadowdale park for your next train spotting adventure.

Always be safe! Stay off the tracks!
