Walkable Main Street Edmonds

Walkable Main Street Edmonds

Bring on the sunshine! Even a heat wave! In any kind of weather, frankly, Edmonds is a great place to be on a weekend, where we are Lovin' Summer and opening up Main Street.

Restaurants are taking their dining tables past the curb for this  popular program offering outdoor dining options and a wider walkway for strolling Main Street, providing more social-distancing options.

All day and evening every Saturday and Sunday, from June 19 through Labor Day Weekend, Main Street is closed to vehicle traffic from 6th Avenue to 3rd Avenue. Vehicle U-turns will continue to be allowed around the fountain, with clear pedestrian pathways.

Saturdays, the Summer Market is open, with grass-fed- and pasture-raised beef, organic potatoes from Frog Song Farm, troll-caught-fish and smoked salmon, and, of course, the PNW bounty of locally grown berries.

Downtown Edmonds merchants are pulling out all the stops with a retail raffle — spend just 25 bucks at participating merchants and you're entered into a drawing for a custom-designed Lovin' Summer t-shirt. Drawings occur every week beginning in July. Rogue Boutique and Little Bipsy are hosting wine tastings for their VIP customers... get on that list!

Seriously... the sun is out. The beach is calling, and it's time we started Lovin' Summer in Edmonds again.
