We are shouting it from the rooftops with a glee like we haven't had since, well, a pandemic. SUMMER IS HERE! And nowhere in the Salish Sea will you find a spot like Edmonds for enjoying the sunshine.

Beaches and Parks

Sunshine and sandy beaches go to together like ice cream and root beer. As if Edmonds waterfront wasn't already the best thing since sliced bread, the construction of the new multi-generational Edmonds Waterfront Center has resulted in a restored beachfront. The toxic, creosote-soaked wood bulkhead and seawall were removed, native plant communities restored, and public connections to the Edmonds Marine Walkway constructed. All this means more beachfront to enjoy! While you're there, grab a gelato or a coffee and pastry from the Shore Pine Coffee & Gelato's take-out window, or enjoy a meal inside in Potlatch Bistro.

Fish from the pier, take a guided ranger walk, and even let Rover run off-leash. There is so much to do on Edmonds waterfront and in all our parks that you'll want to learn more here.

Whale Watching

There is nothing like the quintessential Northwest experience of watching the whales. The best way in the Seattle area is to hop on a tour boat with Puget Sound Express. You're guaranteed a whale sighting! Learn about the whales of the Salish Sea here.
