Monthly
Edmonds Art Walk: From 5pm-8pm, on the Third Thursday of every month, the Edmonds Art Walk brings the community together. With over 40 galleries and businesses hosting local and regional artists, we invite you to come enjoy all types of art, including fine art, music, dance, theatre, performance art, culinary art, and the written word. With a growing assortment of fun events and activities, you will always find something new to engage your creative mind.

Spring
Edmonds Spring Fest:  Kick off spring at this festival put on by Urban Craft Uprising. Held at Frances Anderson Center, it features local makers, great food trucks and a great place to shop for Mother's Day.

Kids Plant for Mom’s Day: The all-volunteer Edmonds in Bloom non-profit celebrates the beauty, zen, and art of gardens, with an array of splendid spring-worthy events, including this popular activity for over 20 years. Held at the Edmonds Farmers Market—just in time for Mother's Day—young gardeners can pick out their very own colorful pail and living bouquets for their moms, with the aid of Edmonds in Bloom volunteers. $10 donation for supplies is appreciated.

Summer
Saturday Summer Market: The Saturday Market in Edmonds at the Historic Edmonds Museum runs from May through early October. Downtown Edmonds on 5th Street from Main at the fountain to Bell and east up Bell Street around Centennial Plaza.

Edmonds Summer Wine Walks: Enjoy wine tasting from select boutique Pacific Northwest wineries, hosted by our local small businesses in downtown. The two events held in July and August benefit Art Walk Edmonds, dedicated to promoting the arts in Edmonds. 

June
Edmonds Arts Festival: In existence for more than half a century, the Edmonds Arts Festival celebrates the arts and culture of Edmonds with artists booths, music, and food. Held on Father's Day weekend at the Frances Anderson Center.

Puget Sound Bird Fest: Puget Sound Bird Fest is a yearly celebration of birds and nature found on the beautiful shores of Puget Sound. It is listed as one of Seattle's best events on events12.com, the website of events currently over 12 months in major cities. The two-day event includes speakers, guided walks, land- and water-based field trips, exhibits, and educational activities for children and adults.

July
4th of July Parade: The Greater Edmonds Chamber of Commerce hosts this event, along with a 5K Fun Run, a children's and community parade, and live music.

Edmonds in Bloom Garden Tour: Edmonds in Bloom Garden Tour is held every July. Originally inspired by a visiting British gardening couple, the Garden Tour is a highlight of the summer, welcoming hundreds of guests and highlighting an array of outstanding gardens in the community.

July-August
Concerts in the Park: Since 1990, the Edmonds Arts Commission has been presenting free outdoor summer concerts, July-August. These concerts are accessible to persons with disabilities and open to the public. Check back to this website for the calendar.

August
Taste Edmonds: Third largest festival in the state of Washington and among the “Top 100 North American Festivals,” Taste of Edmonds attracts an estimated 80,000 visitors every year. The weekend is jam-packed with fun for the whole family, from arts & crafts, food vendors, and a beer and wine garden, to a kids area with rides and entertainment, and three stages of live music entertainment. 

September
Classic Car Show: Downtown Edmonds comes alive in September, with 10,000 spectators “oohing and ahhing” over the 300+ classic cars and motorcycles that vroom-vroom the streets. This event is for the whole family, from the hardcore gear-head to the smallest child. No matter the age, everyone's bound to have a great time car- and cycle-spotting, dreaming of their own fantastically built ride.

Edmonds Art Studio Tour: This free, self-guided tour in September is a once-a-year opportunity to visit 23 private studios displaying the work of 42 local artists in the scenic Edmonds area. Purchase finished works, see new art being created, or just visit and ask questions.

Edmonds Rotary Oktoberfest: Family fun, a beer garden, food trucks, live music—and don't forget the Pet Parade! This community event is an annual favorite.

October
Write on the Sound: Held annually in October, this unique and affordable conference for fiction, nonfiction, and poetry writers offers over 30 sessions specifically focused on the craft of writing, information regarding marketing, publishing, and industry trends, plus workshops on specialty writing topics. It is a priceless opportunity to network with fellow writers and presenters from all around the Northwest, U.S., and abroad. Halloween Trick-or Treat: Trick or treat downtown and join the costume contest.

November
Downtown Holiday Tree Lighting: An annual event of the Greater Edmonds Chamber of Commerce, this community gathering includes a tree lighting, Santa, traditional caroling, and more family fun.

November-December
Edmonds Holidays: Edmonds merchants and community pull out all the stops to create a destination-worthy, small-town holiday experience. The holidays just aren’t the same without a trip to Edmonds. For many families, it’s become yearly tradition to visit the charming seaside town when it’s lit up for the season. Come for the free holiday movies in the historic theater, caroling, a holiday market, and a free ride on the Holiday Trolley. Of course, there's Santa!
